The Georgia Tech Women in Engineering program is excited to announce the 21st annual Engineering Career Conference (ECC) for current female junior and senior high school students. ECC is designed to give high school girls information about the multiple engineering disciplines offered at Georgia Tech to help them decide if they'd like to study engineering in college.
October 6th, 2021
8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
This year's ECC will be a hybrid event, students attending both in person and virtually. The in-person audience capacity will be limited in size. Students may indicate whether they prefer to attend in person or online, and we will give priority to the preferences of seniors, but honoring as many student choices as possible.
Over the course of a day, prospective female students will hear directly from Georgia Tech's world-renowned faculty and current Tech students about the 11 undergraduate engineering majors offered at Georgia Tech:
- Aerospace Engineering
- Biomedical Engineering
- Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Environmental Engineering
- Industrial & Systems Engineering
- Materials Science & Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Nuclear & Radiological Engineering
In addition, attendees will meet with Georgia Tech admissions counselor over lunch to find out about the Institute's admissions process and the academic requirements necessary to succeed in engineering programs.
The non-refundable registration fee for Engineering Career Conference is $40, which covers all materials as well as breakfast and lunch for everyone attending in person. For those who attend virtually, there is no charge. Please note, we cannot accommodate check payments, group registrations, or discount registrations. We apologize for any inconvenience.
APPLICANTS ARE SELECTED BASED ON AN ESSAY QUESTION AND CURRENT GPA. REGISTRATION FOR THE 2021 ECC is now open, and the deadline to apply is Sept. 22. Please apply HERE.
